The SYNTAX score (Sx) is a validated system for risk stratification in patients with coronary artery disease. The aim of this study was to assess the ability of the Sx to predict the outcome of revascularization in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). This prospective, single-center study included 177 patients (mean age 61 ± 11 years) with acute STEMI and moderate-to-severe left ventricular (LV) dysfunction treated with primary percutaneous coronary intervention. Of these patients, 128 (70%) underwent a single-vessel coronary revascularization. The Sx was calculated in all patients. The primary endpoint was the combined rate of 01e38acffe
